NORTHEAST DISTRICT HOOP SHOOT 2011
(over 4,700 local participants)

Alysee Dobbs from East Newton won 1st place in the 8 and 9-year-old girls
in the Newton County Hoop Shoot contest and won 2nd place in the Northeast District
contest.  She is a Covington girl. 

Jerry Mays from Rocky Plains won 1st place in the Newton County 8 and 9-year-old
  boys   contest  He won 1st place in the Northeast District contest.

Covington's Hannah Sadler, a Livingston 5th grader in the 10 and 11-year-old group
 in the Newton County contest, won 1st place  in Newton County and the Northeast District.
Hannah won her division at the State level.

South Salem's Jordan Hill took 1st place in 12 and 13-year-old boys in the
Newton County contest and won 2nd place in the Northeast District contest.
